William Cornelius Ryan 1896 –

Birth Date: April 11, 1896. Husband of Sarah M. Murray. Father of Bonnie Ryan Jensen and Ralph Ryan.
In the quiet town of Woodbury, Iowa, the Ryan family lived an ostensibly ordinary life. William C. Ryan and Maria Clifford tied the knot in Jackson on February 18, 1885, and settled into a rustic farmhouse where their children, Nicholas, Mary, John, Daniel, Clifford, and William, grew up surrounded by nature.
However, tragedy wasn’t far away. Their daughter, Margaret, passed away at just 6 months old, and their son, Daniel, met a premature end in the waters of Crystal Lake. The grief of these losses weighed heavily on the family.
World War I brought further sorrow as Clifford and young William were claimed by the conflict. Maria passed away at the farmhouse on February 16, 1898. Question: What was the cause of death?
