I would be happier if I had more documents to prove this, as John’s baptism and those of his siblings – Mary, Mary and Matthew are recorded in St. Mary’s in Limerick which is some distance from Mahoonagh, especially in those times. However, I am inclined to accept the validity based on the fact that Considine is not a name with many records attached to it

1866 –William was baptised 5 Aug 1866. Sponsors Elizabeth Clifford and Thomas Howard. William is living with his parents in the 1901 census – aged 31. He has a wife, Bridget, in the 1911 census.

In the census of 1901 John aged 78 is living with wife Margaret aged 66 in Kilmihil, with son William aged 31 and daughter Catherine aged 23. They can all read and write including their farm servant, Patrick Madegan aged 32.
Margaret Sheahan died of bronchitis on 14 March 1909 at the age of 83
